Hello, guys, just wondering.. but i train rickson gracie jiujitsu for my condition, and fun..
but really every time i train this grappling, i dont understand why it is practical for streetfighting..
because the opponents keep their legs wide open to maximum pressure in the cross mount...
you can grab his balls and pull and twist.
if hes in your gard and he put his head against your chest to past you etc.. he expose his eyes and face..
etc etc.
i was wondering if this kind of training make me a less effective fighter?
because every lesson i have to hold myself of doing illegal things.
and in my streetfights i dont grapple much, sometimes a throw to the ground, and kicking from that dominant position.
Soo, Richie, or somebody who is experienced.. is there a realistic form of grappling as you maby know?
