Hi everyone, new to this forum so thought I'd say hi. Only recently got back in touch with Richie after a four year absense and he told me about his new career and about this forum, so thought I'd check it out. I worked as a doorman with Rich a good few years ago and used to train with him as well, which was a good laugh, if not a little painful sometimes. Very impressed with everything he's done here and would definately recommend Richie's training methods Wouldn't say I was an expert Martial Artist or anything but I've been in my fair share of scrapes and Richie's method of training is very realistic and extremely useful. here's something you lot will like from a conversation I had with Dave yesterday:

Me: "I remember you telling me you couldnt get angry enough to be on the door anymore, and I thought NOT being angry was a good thing..."

Dave: "Yeah but, I have to be angry to that job properly otherwise I am too slow to respond... if Im placid people just take the piss..."

This is pre SIA days
also Dave was working for a handy firm on some rough (and I do mean rough) doors... unlike me... I stayed on the yuppy wine bars that Dave hated working on!
