my Spanish aint what it used to be, but I think it says he got it in the chest and died soon after from that one stab
two of his mates who tried to grab the knifer also got injured
reading around this looks like the knifer was a Spanish Soldier - he was quiet and reserved, didnt draw any attention
they think the stabbing was politcally motivated and that he was possibly a neo nazi
it was a really fast attack
sad story

That story sounds about right. Saw this elsewhere some time ago. Think knifer was neo nazi and the crowd was a bunch of anti-fascitis coming from some kind of something... And victim died. Knives are trouble. The expect to get cut thing has a lot of truth to it. Nobody likes to hear it though. But if you can't expect to get from a fistfight without getting punched, how can that be expected to happen just because the guy's got a knife in his hand? Knife defense is an ugly prospect. I'm about THAT close to obtaining a suit of armor.

Interesting clip - the guy who died really didn't have any options, the attack was so fast. Nasty, premeditated.
I'm not sure if any of you subscribe to the FMAdigest, an online magazine, but here is a link to the Special Editions Past Issues page. http://fmadigest.com/Issues/special-editions/past_issues-special_editions-08.html
Lower Right is an issue" FMA Law Enforcement and Military Trainers II" Not debating the merits or lack thereof in the articles inside, but of interest was the article starting on page 42 "Dealing with Edged Weapons as a Police Officer". Has some useful information about concealment and the general hazards of dealing with a blade.
