The world's strongest man, Mariusz Pudzianowski, will be at the show, showing off his incredible feats of strength and demonstrate why he has won the title an astonishing five times. Mariusz Pudzianowski is known by millions from his TV appearances, but this is the first time he has ever appeared live in the UK.
Bodypower Expo will bring together Britain's strongest men Jimmy Marku, Terry Hollands and Mark Felix; world famous bodybuilders from the USA Victor Martinez and Dennis Wolf; and Birmingham’s own world famous 6 x Mr Olympia, Dorian Yates.
The world’s fastest growing sport, MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) is fast and furious and is featured throughout Bodypower Expo. See UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championships) stars, Paul ‘Relentless’ Taylor from Birmingham and Nottingham’s Dan ’The Outlaw’ Hardy, along with leading names from the current The Ultimate Fighter Series 9 on Virgin one, including Ross Pearson, Andre Winner and Martin Stapleton.
The show will feature a zone specifically targeted to MMA with a cage, matting, seminars and demonstrations. Sunday 10th May will see the Bodypower Amateur MMA tournament with 32 athletes go head to head in the cage.
It’s not just the pros who can flex their muscles, there are numerous interactive challenges and competitions over the weekend open to visitors including cardio challenges, The Bodypower Bodyweight Challenge and for those guys and girls that like posing 'The EAS Mr Muscle Armour' competition.
