I once dropped somebody with a hard punch to the abdomen,
between the belly button and the dangly bits.
Hit from ground to sky direction at about 45 degrees, uppercut type punch.
A truly below-the-belt punch in every sense of those words.
He went down like a ton of bricks, couldn't breath,
felt sick, tunnel vision, absolutely in no position to defend
himself in any way at all on knees, head on floor,
hands under body fighting for breath.
He swears he can still feel that punch 40 years later!
We were late teens at that time, he was a boxer ABA school boy Champ,
I was brown belt in Shoto' karate. He was being a PITA about his win.
I guess I was a) peed off at his showing off (too much!) and b) slightly(?) jealous.
My brother forgives me though.
