Promo Clip

Guys,

Here's a intro/promo clip I've been working on. It's not perfect, but I think it will do. Lot's of technical stuff I don't like but unless you are acting for the camera it's hard to make fighting/training look perfect

What I'm wondering is, when the clip goes all pixilated at certain parts... does it look really bad? Should I try to upload it again or can I get away with this? I really can't be bothered to mess with it anymore, not yet anyway. Still got to make the Knife Offence pressure testing videos!

I saw no pixilation in the video. If you are refering to the couple clips that were of less quality than the rest (slightly blurry) I think that adds to it, kind of like a candid feel to it.

i enjoyed it. good for you for getting it done. can't say i understand
your question about pixals and pixies and such, because i'm technologically
from another time--when solar eclipses were a sign of the appocolypse.

i'd check you guys out if you were local. i admit to chuckling only once,
where a knee drill made you appear to be doing the 'running-man' to the
music but for what it's worth, you did it to the beat. the rest was spot
on for an advert--and the music actually does alot to make it suffisticated
and not macho. a good choice for professional reasons--clientelle comfort.

you know i'd leave it as it is. i think the grainy stuff does add to the raw feel of the style.

If you didn't notice the pixilation thing then it's obviously not too bad! The grainy stuff was deliberate, glad you liked it. And so was the running-man too! Didn't want the clip to be too serious, that's why I got the little clip of the student laughing too. To show that we have a good time also. I'm past that stage of being all dark and moody, thinking that my training has made me a vigilante who can't escape the evil-doers on the street. There comes a point where you gotta lighten-up, you know? Otherwise you just feed the problem.

ill think i get banned from this forum again, but to be honest, it looks great the movie, but the movements showed, and the training really like beginner training.

for the training partner search its a good one.

Text messages/email/forum comments are easily misunderstood due to lack of tone, emotion, different cultures/languages etc, Having said that, to me, your comment sounded totally non-constructive and condescending.
This may just be my interpretation and I have misunderstood,
If it wasn't a misunderstanding on my part, then it was a dickhead move on your part.

don't know what the problem is Chulo, but if you're not a fan of Shar,
focus on some other subject matter mate. you don't need this, and you
don't need to be banned, you may need to breath and count to 10 though


if the problem that you have is diffifult for you to walk away from, then
just be direct and pm Shar, maybe you might find that you'll be sharing
songs by the camp fire yet, eating marsh mellows on a stick, playing
pin the tale on the donkey, telling ghost stories.

if you felt slighted somewhere along the lines, PM time may be easier to
sort out those kinds of differences.
