| yes. Interesting sounding man.
I like his point that he's never seen a non-violent fight, so why is there so much non-violent pad work going on.

| Lots of good points in that interview. I'm going to try some of his drill ideas with my students. | |

| Not long back from Cardiff from some a weekends private training with Mick - fantasic coach and what he says makes real sense. You tend to listen to someone who has been there and done it. He put me in contact with a guy from here (N.Ireland) who is near ready to be signed off by Mick in his Core Combatives system, we train together now - so its great The stuff he teaches is easy to apply, practical, and the principles he talks about are easy to understand. | |

| One article I found quite interesting (from his website) is the Tatical Idaas article. I never really trained repeat shots. Always left, right, right, left etc... I never really thought that repeat shots create more power. I do train trapping quite a bit but will trap and strike then alternate. I will have to give it a try.
Ive seen it done quite effectively. In fact one of the new clips on the SFS YouTube site has an example of this.
Good Stuff! | |

| Apologies for the sound quality on the interview - I had a chest infection and was using a hands-free device, the next one will be clearer I assure you all!
Indexing is as old as having hands - watch anyone doing precise work, there will be some form of physical point of reference - I certainly didn't invent anything, even the term is borrowed!
As a matter aside, I will possibly be teaching in Texas and California towards the end of May this year......if anyone is interested?

| I intend to be in the US for a couple of weeks from approximately the 17th May onwards, I've a couple of in-house Law-Enforcement seminars in the Los Angeles area, but will be looking to put on an open event or two in addition - nothing is confirmed at this stage but I'm open to offers! I was planning to visit Houston,TX, during the latter portion of my trip.
In the near future I hope to be running my instructor programme in the US, in an accellerated and concentrated format - details of this will be on my website soon.

| Stop by Indianapolis if you get the chance. It really sucks here. You will be bored beyond tears, and will think a lot about death. Until we break out the absinthe (newly legal here) and the beer and the naked women.
We drink absinthe and paint the naked women with green glow-in-the-dark paint and let them wear fairy wings. It is really a lot of fun chasing them through rows of corn with UV flashlights.
The ecstasy wears off after 4 hours, so we usually eat another pill after the third hour to keep rolling. Richie has been invited.
