Thanks for this. Amazing how everything Tony Blauer had to say in 1992 remains relevant today.

He makes an interesting point about people looking for realistic forms of self defense when levels of street crime begin to rise.

It has occurred to me that a severe global recession is bound to increase street crime--and demand for practical programs like the Beta 8 Syllabus that don't take eight years to master.
