| https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fuf9_BeWCeI&feature=related we can all poke holes from the outside looking in, but his slap happy style works for him as he keeps the intensity up. sasquatch and eggbert give it 'two thumbs up' for the fight of the week | |

| Fighting-method: Odd. Looked slightly different from the usual streetfight. Then again the video says it was a town fight, so that's probably the reason. Intensity good though. He just keeps slapping. Slappety, slappety, slappety, slap. Even with a shoe in the end. | |

| Yes, I liked that he noticed the 'improvised weapon' - though I didn't notice who lost it in the first place? The clip also seemed like a good example of how hard it is to throw a non compliant opponent. | |

| I quite like watching these types fights at the mo', I find them weirdly instructive... maybe in terms of seeing what is "missing" from the ineffective strategy that is alot of activity with no effect | |

| yeah, at one point there's a head lock, but with no consequence from either--throw or bite. i was watching it like one of those old fat dad's in the armchair watching sports, "throw some straight shots! mix it up!" all that athleticism--that's what makes me like amateur boxing even though it's sports. something real still coming through--in the absense of the sports skill set. i've heard the reverse but this seems like a canvas. i think that's why the best advice people can get when trying to sell a house is to make the room sparse so people can invision their own decorating. am i mistaken, or our we imagining how WE'D DECORATE | |

| to stretch your metaphor (or is it an allegory)... your... word thingy... I always decorate with the standard fat dad :"throw some straight shots"!! I watched "ultimate fighter" last night, and I noticed week after week always find myself shouting that at my deaf tellybox, I find a lot of the MMA chappies boxing skills a bit sus, which is why its so satisfying to watch a Fedor /Wanderlei/ Belfort step in and blast away with their hands | |

| ha ha ha. it's like a HUGE weight has been lifted off one's shoulders to see Fedor, etc... one second...about to yell at that deaf bastard telly...then suddenly the thug-technician delivers, and the inner yolks lift--which revealed just how much we had superimposed ourselves in that ring in the first place, and we say, "good boy...good boy...here's a biscuit, now savagely finish the fooker off and we'll go walk'sies" QUOTE "to stretch your metaphor (or is it an allegory)... your... word thingy" from the latin root, wordicus thinglatifornicapila we should be university professors...let me see if i have two matching tweed blazers with the elbow patches. that's all we need, right? | |

| intresting. but they do say that a slap has more potential to cause a knockout then a punch does | |

| ...and it's more forgiving for accuracy. i've clocked people even by accident during a light exchange, the dynamics lend so much to making nice contact.
mostly taking the mickey out of the options not explored. but really, the fire in number 19 does afford him some unapproachable safety--but not the drop he wanted.
i liked the fight. the whole shoe thing actually reminds me of the way a friend of mine fought. he had a group of people trying to make him pay for using some solid object against a bloke shouting in his face. as his mates approached to do something or other, he managed a huge pause just throwing a 'flip-flop' sandle at the small group [kid you not]. long enough for him to run like the lunatic he is, all the way to my job site and tell the story amidst hysterical laughter.
i just ran into him the other day. a marbled tapistry of tattoes. he was doing pre-emptive when it was still referred to as a 'sucker-punch'. it's funny what hindsight does. i'm going to ask him to join this site when i catch up with him again.
okay, that's my aside. see ya'mate | |

| Projectiles are great. Many examples in the Filipino arts - rocks, dirt, coins. Great for creating that moment to strike or run .... | |
