Following on from some of the ideas from other threads .... not sure when this was filmed, though it looks more 'jitsu' than pure 'do'.
O-Sensei's intent and timing are amazing, aswell as his speed and fluidity.
He came from an era when it was not unknown for the army to run out of bullets during campaigns, so his sword was more than likely used as a weapon of war.
I love the way he holds the center line and controls it.

although i dont know his style, and i dont believe to much in aikido, but i think his aikido was very very interesting
