Well, I have some of their .pdfs but I haven't really been impressed. I think all their stuff is given via free subscription, so it doesn't hurt to check it out.

If I recall correctly, it looked very similar to some of the Hawaiian healing methods that Serge King wrote about, but I may not recall correctly at all.

How's that for a concrete answer?

I've dealt with EFT a little bit and that seems to be one of it's "selling points". You don't have to believe in it or even know WHY it works...it just DOES! Smile

You can buy the DVDs from www.emofree.com . Each "library" goes up in price, but since they are being sold by the founder of EFT, he gives you permission to make up to 100 copies of the DVDs to GIVE AWAY (not sell). I had a set at one time and it was interesting. Smile

placebo effect possibly? I don't know I could be wrong I don't believe that tapping yourself can heal psychological problems. Sounds too much like a mystical magic pill.

EFT works because the body and mind are a closed electrical system, physical and psycological problems are seen as blocks in the system, tapping sends kinetic energy down the meridians to unblock them, a bit like unblocking a sink. The set up phrase is taking ownership of the problem and saying even though i have this problem i am still a good person.
Look it up on gary craig's site and just try it,try it on physical things like even though my front jab is week i am still a good fighter, use it to recover from injuries ie even though i have a pulled hamstring i am getting better, use it in your mental training ie even though i sometimes don't train at full intensity because............. i am still a good fighter or even though i get riled easily i choose to be calm.It may be just a placebo but it works.

I have to agree with Richie and placibo, I have used EFT and it works amazingly. But as a logical person, the reason it works doesn't make any sense to me, but then again acupuncture doesn't make sense to me either, but it works!!! So who knows! It is helpful to be able to work with someone who has gone to his seminars and is trained in how to use it more effectively, but even on your own following their instructions, it works great. There are some good videos on YouTube about EFT and some sample things to say. But it does seem to work on just about everything.
