I agree. Lister is great on the ground but Okami was looking like No1 contender in the division and only injury prevented him gettin a shot at Anderson Silva.

I'm not much of a Hamill fan, mainly because everytime he's mentioned the Bisping thing comes up.
(Hamill won 1, Bisping won 2 & 3. there's an argument for 1 being a 10-8 making it a draw but NEVER a Hamill win, get over it America)
He's a LOT bigger than Andy though who might even be a small middleweight, let alone Lightheavy.

every bit as entertaining as expected but an utter disaster for my picks.

I had round 1 10-10, round 2 10-8 round 3 was looking 9-10 but great finish by Evans.
Couldn't stand the guy on TUF but he was starting to grow on me since the Tito fight.
Wonder who his first defence might be (cough:rampage)

Nogueria to beat Mir
Wow, Mir suprised me not only with his total domination of Nogueria, but with the class and humility afterwards, admitting he'd never been as terrified as when he walked into that octagon yesterday. Hope he can repeat hjis result over Lesnar in the spring

Silva to beat Jackson
I though I'd picked this wrong after the weigh ins and by fight time I was positive. Silva certainly rocked Rampage a couple of times but that KO was stunning. Would be very suprised if he's not straight in with Evans.

Massenzio to beat Dollaway
Nah, one sided. There was one triangle attempt that I thought might catch Dolloway, but was never in trouble.

Kongo to beat Al Turk
Yay, got one. Kongo ready for a shot at the winner of Mir/Lesnar? I think he'd beat Lesnar. I think Mir would find a way to pull guard and submit him. Good luck to the fella though. He's a beast.

Okami to beat Lister
thought this would go the distance. Haven't seen it yet but I'm suprised it was on the undercard. Maybe Okami will get a name and open a main card next?

yep, Hamill was too big, too strong on the feet and was never going to get taken down, and would have won on the matt if he'd chosen to take it there.

Didn't know he was a Duke Rufus student. Nasty looking kicker. Could be good for the division, though he looked undersized compared to some of the heavyweight monsters. Looks like a LHW to me.

Franklin to beat Henderson.
Just because Anderson Silva handed Franklins ass to him twice, people seem to forget how much better than the rest of the Middleweights he was. I think he'll be too strong for Henderson.

Rua to beat Coleman
Mark Coleman back in the octagon? Have a word. He was an out of breath ball of muscle in his prime. Now, assuming he survived the first 60 seconds Rua will rip an arm off.

Belcher to beat Kang
This is a guess to be honest. It all depend how Kang adjusts to the cage because he's good enough to win this. Belcher looked awesome against Herman. Could be an absolute blinder.

Horn to beat Palhares.
I've just been watching UFC 21 & 22 (quite a DVD collection building up now) and I can't believe how log Gumby has been around 88-18-5 at 33 . Palhares looked decent so far but Horn has a massive size advantage and I'd love to see him get some win's going.

Davis to beat Lytle
I like Lytle and would love to be wrong but I think Davis will get a KO

Kampman to beat Barros
Schaffer to beat Mendes
