| ...and i like Don Frye--folks either like him or hate him. i'm a fan. but the bloke cleaning his big clock has some drive and seems like he's even growling a bit...how's that for violent intent? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G1hdqGbDLMg&feature=related | |

| Don Fry is a legend
If it is him or not (certainly looks like him) the attacker throws, misses and falls and Fry (or whoever) lets him back up and start throwing again. The opportunity was handed to the victim to get the upper hand and it wasn't taken.

| Another Don Frye fan here. It's a shame to see him get dropped outside of mma competition. | |

| I have UFC1-20 on DVD and I only recently rewatched them all.
With the possible exception of Marco Ruas, Don Fry really stands out as the first of the new generation MMA fighters. Gracie might have been the original champion, but Don Fry was the original all round UFC fighter.

| magnum P.I. magnum P.I. getting in trouble regarding a hotel tab discrepancy--some binging, an inappropriate comment to one of the girls on the staff, an unflushed loo...these things happen. i love Don Frye's irreverent humor as much as his fighting--and the voice that goes with it (ha ha). he's either smoke several thousand cigs or swallowed linda blair. but i guess it could be related to him being a firefighter for a spell. bar none, my favorite mma character. whether it's him, or his evil twin and ex-mario-brother, i can live with it either way. anyone can be dropped on a bad day. he's still one of my idols. with the proper motivation, and perhaps a wee bit different context--say an alley, Don may still muster nibbling an ear off and making more of a showing. he's lost no credability for me. Don/Mario/Magnum/Elvis/My-Ex-Wife-Before-Her-Face-Waxing/etc... looks a bit relaxed by comparison--not switched on. | |
