| surely when the ice caps melt that wont make the sea rise because the weight of the big icecubes causes displacemnt anyway? | |

| all that stuff sticking out the top surely creates weight which pushes the icebergs further into the water causing displacemnt though, innit? | |

| It’s not necessarily the icebergs, but the frozen water on all the land masses and mountains to include glaciers.
Small asteroid is suppose to hit earths atmosphere tonight, so maybe global warming isn’t that big of a deal anyway. They say it shouldn’t make it to the surface, but who knows. http://spaceweather.com/ | |

| ah ok, I can see why frozen water on the land melting -that would be troublesome Roadkill, looks like that asteroid already hit this morning, at only 3 metres wide didnt require bruce willis to die saving us whilst ben affleck wept or for morgan freeman to gravely intone: "we are all fucked... and by we I mean you because as the president I shall be living in a 5 star resort under the earth eating baked beans and watching family guy reruns while you all play a lottery to see who will fry from radiation or die of cold... like dinosaurs" I think im having a russel sage moment yeah, no ... I definitely am. according to the web bots we're all doomed, or in 2012 we are doomed because the all knowing mayans who didnt know well enough to run away from the spanish instead of towards them, thinking them half man half horse centaur gods bearing gifts, have sloppily let their calendar run out by then Ive built a bunker, now I just need to join a militia and stock up on ammo and toilet paper, the world is ending... AGAIN! | |

| Hmm.. a 5 star bunker huh… Well then would it make any difference if I told you that I already have a stockpile of ammo and a band of virgins that are skilled in the art of making toilet paper and massage? Any room for me and my clan? | |

| Can't guarantee virgins, but what the heck... What matters is condoms and paper bags. | |
