| Hi Poofy
yeah, if the situation merits it, obviously you should use anything to hand/ the environment to your advantage and hopefully spare your precious delicate hand bones a pounding
I just stand on the no weapons training side of the argument to counterbalance the "tactical folding knife" crew... and to wind them up
if your dead good at fighting with your bare hands, how much more of an adavantage will you be at when you fend of your atacker with the bread board and bread knife gladiator styley?
personally i always carry these items in my car... you never know when i might get hungry and need to chop food stuffs in a tactically vociferous environment

A few months ago I had this realization myself. Better to be a weapon than to just have a weapon. Besides where I am carrying knives and other tools for messing people up is frowned upon by the law. And seeing how often a punk will whine and press charges it might not be the best of ideas to be carrying the "killmaster 666 warblade" at such a time, even if it wasn't used. - Richard Grannon wrote:

Well there's an unexploited market! Tacticool cutlery and cooking utensils. Personally I've got me one of these as a tactical bread-knife, but alas I've got no tactical bread board. I.e., a titanium alloy, teflon covered board (with either a belt clip or paracord neck rig, perhaps?) And while on the subject of tacticool cutlery, cold-steel also makes the bad axe which I've found makes for an absolutely excellent pizza slicer, which because it's big, round and flat can also be slipped under the pizza to take it out of the oven like with a pizza-spatula. In fact, for the survival crew I have even come across a tent oven which runs on a sort of standard multipurpose kerosene-based fuel (but can be used to burn anything that catches fire). This military grade hardware is perfect for wilderness preparation of pizza. All you have to do is cut away some metal grating on the bottom on one of the sides and you can slip a pizza in between the oven and it's metal base. then all you need is your trusty tactical handheld TV and a beer and you've got something...

I have made a gladiator style trident and net combo out of broom with an arial stuck in it and some netto bags sellotaped together.
I pity the fool who next tries to road rage me, Im going to get all Spartacus on that ass.
