More on Tea Empty
PostSubject: More on Tea   More on Tea EmptyWed Jan 06, 2010 12:37 am

my last real vice. sometimes i get tired of the loose leaf ritual--sort of buddhist tired in that if i can't get my
favorite brand from the far away indian grocer's, i'm sulky. attatchment. expectation the cause of misery and
all that "that which you own...own's you" kind of stuff. so occasionally i condescend to the bag. then get bothered
by the fact that the better quality bag teas are exorbitantly priced. so i slither further into the gutter and buy
a supermarket brand tea--which invariably leads to anything literally from four bags onward in one mug.
i've gone up to 10 before realizing how ridiculous it all is. so in my latest quest to use one bag like everyone else,
i found.....

THE NUTSACK

yes, it's a collasal bag of either lipton's or supermarket brand tea made for the express purpose of creating a
pitcher of american style iced tea. meant to steap all day in a big jug after the initial warm dose of water, then
mixed with ice/lemon/sugar. this ridiculous bag swells to the size of a, well--lets say i was using two for a time,
then laughed at the prospect, and now i'm down to one. one dirty great nutsack to make my cuppa.

my last vice. 24 in a pack, about three cups a day, but now i can say i only take one tea bag--nice Neutral

Here are the primary components of my diet the last five years or so. Except for soda, chocolate and junk food when I'm out and about. Laughing

My tea isn't strong. But I make up for it in quantity.
