| Yesterday, Nov. 18th, something exploded in the atmosphere above the western United States.
Something hit Earth's atmosphere and exploded with an energy equivalent of 0.5 to 1 kiloton of TNT. Witnesses in Colorado, Utah, Idaho and elsewhere say the fireball "turned night into day" and "shook the ground" when it exploded just after midnight Mountain Standard Time.
Infrasound recordings of the blast suggest a small asteroid hitting Earth's atmosphere and exploding with an energy of 0.5 to 1 kiloton of TNT.

| That looked hella cool from the cctv cameras! Sometimes it's good to get reminded that our little lives are so small in comparison to a space rock, the size of a washing machine, that can turn night into day ...... | |

| that was really cool. must be even more awesome to have been one of the first hand witnesses.
be watchful of the enquirer articles to come though--diminishing the beauty of the thing:
"martian drunk driver seen by thousands over Utah"
etc...
thanks for that Roadkill | |
