Hi James/JimmyV
I'm Chris from West Chiltington, about half an hour from Brighton. I am down here till September time and up for training - any idea of when and where? Definetly up for a meet to discuss stuff etc. ideas of where to train etc.
I'm 18, boxing based and weigh 13 stone.

Otherwise I am based in Manchester for 3/4 of the year. So would love a training partner up there etc.

Just seen the post about someone looking for a training partner in Milton Keynes.

Im male, 31. In reasonable good fitness shape. Im looking for a training partner, but not looking to spend cash on gym membership so was hoping to find someone interested in bag work, general fitness and weights etc.

I have some experience of kickboxing from a few years ago and still have most of the equipment, but was hoping to get back into self protection again.

If anyone is looking to do some training on a budget then please get in touch.

richard.burch8@googlemail.com

Thanks

Richard

Hi Chris,

Thanks for the reply. Sorry I took so long, been a bit busy recently. I'd be up for meeting up. As far as where to train, I live near preston park in brighton, which is a pretty good place to train. Other than that, maybe there are places near you. Let me know when you are free. I will PM you later on today.

James.

Yeh the late reply kinda sucks as my time is being eaten up majorly now. With resits next week in Manchester, an italian wedding straight after and then I have around a week down south or two before Uni.
So it'll have to be around 2 weeks from now if I'm free, sorry to be a pain.

But Christmas is always an option however far away that may seem.

Never let lack of funds stop ya workin out. I don't want to sound like a cock, but you could always make some weights/dumbells. Get a couple of metal bars, cast some concrete in the shapes you like (with holes in the middles for the bars) cover them with GAFFA tape or other type of sticky plastic and fit them concrete shapes to the bars, hey presto! Boom! "Flintstones Ghetto Gym". Costs pennies and does the job.

Also, pull-ups on tree branches, running, push-ups and all other fitness stuff.

Just a few thoughts for ya.
