A suggestion for the psychology of violence...

If any of you like hip-hip, rap or heavy metal..basically anything that's havey and you are muscially inclined...

Write and perform the most ultra violent lyrics you can, this shit works. It puts you in a different "flavor" of state...kinda
like you're possessed by your own music.

i get it, the power song--the war song. i've been amped by the music of others enough not to need to do
this but i get the sentiment if you're artistic enough to reel out your own triggers and things that get you
going. i think this is why some folks--inspite of the obvious shortcomings [not hearing] have their head
phones on during walks. loads of folks used to have them on until they fought--in tournaments.

most of us understand that--probably more from a perspective of 'work-out' music. interesting...hmmm

Yea, but instead you get some rap instrumentals from youtube, get into state, write a brutal ass verse, i doesn't even have to be that good really, the only creativity should be violent creativity. The song then is kind of like an anchor now.

Basically write a song about all the vile, nasty things you'll do to someone.

I like rap. So what I do is I go on youtube and find some really dark instrumentals, write the kind of rap lyrics as if a was the ultra-tough armed robber drug dealer murderer gangsta thug criminal psychopath with a touch of sick, perverted serial killer who doesn't give a fuck. I get into character, therefore I get into state. I write the song, recite it a few times and then I go train while in state. It's fucking amazing what happens. I'm more pumped up, and I happen to have more control of my state. This "split" of my personality won't let itself get beat up, because it has to stay congruent with it's self image (As written in the verses)...so it's going to deliver violence like you wouldn't believe because it's motivated to not "lose".

I like to play around with it too, maybe sometimes I'll experiment with a state of being "joyfully" violent (like when you just dance around just bashing people and laughing) and use something lighter

it sure is, you always sum it up better than i do...i spent about 30 minutes laughing at
the prospect of me making up lyrics about what i'd do to someone. it'd be a 5 second
song, for one. and there's a reason us salty folk buy heavy metal to work out to, cause
the work out would quickly fizzle when we tried to, erm, entertain for a pump.

The comedian was Bobcat Goldthwait. Around the same time here in the states there was another screaming angry comedian as well by the name of Sam Kinison.
