There's pretty decent radio where I live, and today there was a great programme by a group called Radio Lab. The newest one is not up as a podcast yet, but it was really interesting - investigating if war and violence are really part of the 'human condition'. Not political or dry - very creative, interesting stuff.
So if you are driving somewhere, or have an hour to listen to something, check them out.
